We will be working with our pupils across every Key Stage to support them in developing an understanding of what their career aspirations are and what they need to do to achieve them. As our pupils approach the end of their journey at Coombe House School, we want them to feel assured that we have prepared them for their next steps and their onward journey into adulthood.
Our overriding aim is to ensure that every young person who leaves Coombe House School will be equipped with the life skills and ability to find their place in society.
Our curriculum includes independent careers advice and guidance as well as support for a move to further education, employment and training. Alongside the introduction of career, interview preparation and employability skills, we also arrange short-term and long-term work experience placements that build on our pupils development and resilience for their future.
