Specialist KS3/4 ASC Teacher
The position of Specialist KS3/4 ASC Teacher has been created to support the growth of the school and the needs of our pupils, it is a great opportunity to be part of a team providing the very best possible educational opportunities for our pupils within a nurturing and supportive setting. Learning Support Assistants
Coombe House School has an immediate requirement for two new Learning Support Assistants to meet the needs of a young person with behaviours that are challenging and impacting their mental health, including self-harm, distress and anxiety. We would like to hear from you if you have a passion for supporting young people with complex SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health) difficulties and sometimes challenging behaviour. Ideally you will have experience of working as a Mental Health Support Worker, Behaviour Teaching Assistant or SEMH experienced Learning Support Assistant.

Specialist SEMH Teacher KS2/KS3
Are you an outstanding qualified Specialist SEMH KS2/KS3 Teacher with experience of teaching and supporting key stages 2/3 with Special Educational Needs? Do you have a passion for helping children overcoming barriers to learning and experience of teaching pupils with ASC, NLD, ADHD, SEMH and other complex needs?

Learning Support Assistant (SEMH / SEN / ASC) – January 2025 start
A new position is available to join our team of talented Learning Support Assistants, in January 2025, who work with the class Teachers to help plan and deliver lessons, and with the Pastoral Support Team and Therapists. We would like to hear from you if you have a passion for supporting pupils with SEMH (social, emotional, and mental health) difficulties and those with a range of neurodiverse conditions including autism. Ideally you will have experience of working as a SEND Teaching Assistant or Learning Support Assistant, with children who have additional complex needs.

The school uses a therapeutic approach to support pupils with their individual difficulties. Everything the school does is based on positive relationships and viewing behaviour as communication.
