Occupational Therapist (School Based)
Join our supportive and talented Therapy team as an Occupational Therapist
Are you passionate about improving the lives of children and young people with additional needs? Coombe House School is looking for a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to lead and deliver high-quality therapy provision across our school. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team and to further shape the impact of OT across a unique specialist educational setting.
Hours: 37 hours per week Monday to Friday, Term time only plus weeks
Salary: From £42,839 – 45,091 FTE per annum (Actual term time only + 2 weeks for this position is £39,609 – 41,691 annum).

SEMH Key Stage 2 Primary
We are seeking a proactive, resourceful, and energetic SEMH Key Stage 2 Primary Teacher to lead and teach a KS2 class, supported by specialist teachers.
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, Term time only

Generalist ASC Teacher (KS3)

Freelance Tutor – Functional Skills, English and Maths KS4 (Blandford/Sturminster Newton Area)
We have a freelance opportunity up to 20 hours a week to deliver tutoring support in the community (central Dorset area) across 4 days (between 09.00am and 15.00pm – times to be agreed) to several of our young people (ages 14 – 16).

Farm Worker / Assistant (up to 28 hours, inc. Weekends
Are you passionate about animals, horticulture, and working outdoors? Working closely with the Farm Manager, you will help deliver daily animal care, assist with seasonal growing projects, and maintain the farm’s infrastructure and habitats.
Hours: 28 hours per week ( Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday) Job share considered (14 hours per week: one weekday and one weekend day)
Salary: £19,688 – 20,300 per annum (for 28 hours per week)

Volunteer Opportunities at Coombe House Farm
Our farm is in the early stages of an exciting journey. We are already cultivating a vibrant mix of fruit and vegetables, including our no-dig beds, polytunnels and orchard. We currently care for chickens, ducks, sheep and guinea pigs with more animals being introduced as the site develops. We are expanding and would love volunteers to join our friendly team!

Learning Support Assistant (SEMH / SEN)
Do you want to work in an environment supporting and empowering some of the most inspiring and unique young people in Dorset? Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are looking for someone who is either currently working in a mainstream Secondary setting and eager to take the next step into Special Education, or has experience as a SEND Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant or Youth Worker, supporting children with additional needs.
Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, term time only
Salary: £25,989 – £26,824 FTE per annum (Actual term time only for this position is £22,878 to £23,613 per annum)

Housekeeper (Part time)
We are currently recruiting for Housekeepers to join our team. One is 15 hours per week (7am to 10am) Monday to Friday, all year round) and the other is term-time only, same hours -7am to 10am Monday to Friday. Ideally you will have previous housekeeping and cleaning experience in a similar environment, but we are still keen to hear from you even if you don’t – it is important to us that we have the right person for the team and someone with a passion for cleaning!
