Learning Support Assistant
Do you want to work in an environment where the focus is on educating the whole child? Are you passionate about supporting and empowering some of the most inspiring and unique young people in Dorset? Are you passionate about making a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs? We are looking for dedicated and compassionate Learning Support Assistants to work closely with class teachers to plan and deliver engaging lessons while collaborating with our Pastoral Support Team and Therapists to create a nurturing learning environment.

Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, term time only
Salary: £22,879 to £23,614 pa (FTE £25,183 to £27,269 pa)

Occupational Therapist
Seeking a qualified and experienced Occupational Therapist to lead and deliver high-quality therapy provision across our school. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive, multi-disciplinary team and to further shape the impact of OT across a unique specialist educational setting. 

Hours: Working hours are full time (37 hours): 08.30 – 16.30 Monday to Thursday, 08.30 – 16.00 on a Friday. Flexibility around those hours can be discussed.  
Salary: from £42,839 – 45,091 FTE per annum (Actual term time only + 2 weeks for this position is £39,609 – 41,691 annum).

Therapeutic Thinking Lead
Are you passionate about transforming the learning experiences of children and young people with SEMH, Autism, and complex and challenging needs?

‘Therapeutic Thinking’ is a whole-school relational approach to understanding and meeting needs and recognising the experiences and feelings that drive pupil behaviours. Coombe House School are looking for someone to lead its implementation. We are looking for a committed and skilled professional to join our team as a Therapeutic Thinking Lead.

Hours: full time (37 hours): 08.30 – 16.30 Monday to Thursday, 08.30 – 16.00 on a Friday.
Salary: Actual salary range is £35,986 – £40,319 per annum, depending on skills, experience, and qualifications in line with the person specification.

Casual Lifeguard/Leisure Assistant ( Zero Hours)

This is a zero-hours position, ideal if you’re looking for flexibility, varied shifts, or occasional work to fit around other commitments. Hours: Casual 8 hours per week
Salary: £13.69 plus the statutory minimum holiday entitlement (taking it to c£15.34 per hour)

 Generalist ASC Teacher (KS2/3), Shaftesbury

Struggling to meet the diverse needs of all learners – from the most able to those needing the most support – while being measured against national data? If so, we understand – and we’re here to offer a refreshing alternative.

Are you an outstanding ASC Teacher (KS2/3), with extensive experience of working with Autistic children/young people in an education setting and a passion for inclusion, enabling all children to overcome barriers to learning?  We are seeking a proactive, resourceful, and energetic ASC Teacher to lead and teach across KS2 and KS3, supported by specialist teachers.

Hours: 35 hours per week Monday to Friday, term time only
Salary: Main pay range (DOE) + SEN Allowance.
